GCA is a San Francisco Bay Area based privately held firm specializing in managing and/or advising emerging market, alternative asset funds. The firm was founded in 1989 and incorporated in the state of California in 1994. Since inception, the firm and its principals have established, managed or advised in excess of twenty alternative asset funds with aggregate AUM exceeding $4.6 billion. Investment products offered include: i) region specific, single manager hedge funds and ii) private equity fund of funds. The firm also offers separately managed account capability. All funds are managed by in house portfolio managers. Through its separately managed GCA Alliance Division, GCA conducts corporate finance, mergers and acquisition advisory activities.
